The work on Dhaka’s metro-rail project has got underway. The utility tests which the contractors started in the capital on Tuesday, were going on in full swing in different important points in the route of the metro-rail project in the mega city on Thursday. Before start of the metro-rail work it is necessary to examine the locations of the utility services (gas, waterlines and electricity cables) under the road. The work was going on in Mirpur-10 to Farmgate section of the metro rail route, according to a news agency.
