Man killed in C'nawabganj road accident

A man was killed as a truck ran over him in Bhogobanpur area of Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Wednesday night. The deceased was identified as Mainul Haque, 60, son of Gudhu Mondol, a resident of the area. Sarwar Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chapainawabganj police station, said the accident took place in the area around 7:30pm when the truck hit the bicycle riding Mainul was travelling by, leaving him dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body, according to a news agency.
