United Kingdom's Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FOC) on Monday announced Alison Blake as the new High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
“Alison Blake is to succeed Robert W Gibson CMG as the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh,” the FOC said in an official announcement.
Gibson will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment as Blake will take up her appointment during January 2016, it mentioned.
Blake discharged duties in Islamabad as Deputy High Commissioner from 2011–2014.
