4 Bangladeshi students killed in Saudi crash

Four Bangladeshi students were killed and 7 more injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia’s winter capital of Jeddah early Friday. Expatriate Bangladeshis and hospital sources said the accident involving a minibus, took place around 9:30pm local time (00.30am Bangladesh standard time). Police, hospital and expatriates identified the deceased as Ekramul Haq Anik, hailed from Dhaka, Md Faisal from Barisal, Saikat from Tangail and Marjuk from Chittagong. The injured were rescued and rushed to King Fahd Hospital, one of the top hospitals in the Middle East, on Friday. Rafiqul Islam Faruki, Principal of Jeddah Bangladesh International School, said the bodies were recovered by the authorities. They were kept at the hospital, according to a news agency.
