2 more Bangladesh Hajj pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia

Two more Bangladeshi pilgrims passed away in Saudi Arabia, raising the number of Hajj pilgrims dying in the Kingdon to five in the current Hajj season. The deceased were identified as M Gazi Rahman, 77, of Meghna upazila of Comilla district and M Kajim Uddin, 59, hailed from Nakla upazila of Sherpur district. Bangladesh Hajj mission in the holy city of Makkah confirmed the deaths of the two pilgrims on Monday. According to sources from the mission, Kajim Uddin, who arrived in Saudi winter capital Jeddah by flight ‘SV 5209’ of Saudi Airlines on August 19 for performing Hajj, passed away around 1:30am on Sunday. Gazi Rahman, who arrived in Jeddah by flight ‘SV 5323’ of Saudi Airlines on August 20, also died on Sunday, according to a news agency.
