The online admission process for the first year honours at Dhaka University (DU) began on Monday and will continue till September 10. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the programme as the chief guest at the university's central admission office this morning, a DU press release said. The VC said the admission process has become easier than previous year and the number of seats for admission has been increased by opening two new departments. Among others, convener of admission department Professor Dr. M Hasibur Rashid, deans and chairmen of different departments and directors of different institutes were present, according to BSS.
