President Md Abdul Hamid left Dhaka for London on Sunday morning on an eight-day tour of the United Kingdom for medical checkup. According to the President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin, Hamid left Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport for London by an Emirates flight around 10:15am. Hamid is scheduled to have his eye checkup in London’s Moorfield Eye Hospital and heart checkup at Bupa Cromwell Hospital. President Hamid is expected to return home on August 31, said the press secretary, according to a news agency.
