Police recovered 80 gold bars in Magura on Wednesday morning. They also arrested three people in this connection. Police identified the arrestees as Subadh Kumar Shil, 33, hailing from Manikganj district, Niranjan Shil, 34, and Suman Shil, 35, residents of Savar upazila of Dhaka district. Officer-in-charge of Magura Sadar Police Station Munshi Asaduzzaman said the three were going to Satkhira district riding a bus of ‘Songram Poribahan’. Police conducted a search in the bus in PTI Intersection area of Magura town as part of their regular patrol and recovered the gold bars tied with their bodies around 5am, the OC said.
