Dutch Queen Máxima Zorreguieta Cerruti will visit Bangladesh in November this year. The Queen of the Netherlands who is also the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, is likely to arrive in Dhaka on a four-day visit in the third week of November, an official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said. During the visit, Queen Máxima Zorreguieta Cerruti will have meetings with President Md Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and other stakeholders. Bangladesh and the Netherlands have already expressed satisfaction over the current state of bilateral relations and Dhaka and the Hague have been planning to hold the first-ever foreign office consultation between the two countries in the first week of October to take forward the relations to newer heights, the foreign ministry official has said, according to a news agency.
