Customs officials arrested a man along with 1.2 kg gold worth Tk5 million at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital on Saturday night. The arrestee was identified as Nazmul Hossain, 39, hailing from Mymensingh district. Customs officials challenged Nazmul while he was crossing the green channel and recovered 20 gold bars and some ornaments from his luggage around 10:40pm. Priyanka Das, assistant commissioner (Customs) confirmed the incident, according to a news agency.
