Two bikers were killed as a bus ran over them on the city’s Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover on Monday night. The deceased were identified as Jahirul Islam and Amzad Hossain, according to their identity card and mobile phone respectively. Witness said the motorcyclists were going to Jatrabari from Gulistan on their motorcycle through the Mayor Mohammod Hanif Flyover around 10pm. Both of them fell down from the motorbike as their bike slipped on the road near Tikatuli area right in front of the RAB-3 office. A bus ran over them after they fell on the busy flyover. A security guard of the ‘Elite Force’ a security agency, who was on duty at the flyover saw the incident and took them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The doctor on duty declared both of them dead after examination. Mozammel Haque, camp in-charge of DMCH police camp confirmed the incident, according to UNB.
