Police recovered three bodies of newborn babies from a drain in Polytechnique Institute area of Mymensingh town on Monday. Kamrul Islam, officer-in charge of Kotwali Model Police Station said on Monday morning locals spotted the three bodies in a canal beside Polytechnique Institute and informed police. Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Morgue. Police suspected that local clinics might have dumped those bodies after miscarriages, according to a news agency.
