The preliminary examination for Assistant Thana Education Officer (ATEO) post under the directorate of primary education will be held on Friday. The Public Service Commission (PSC) has said that the test will be of 60-minute (1-hour) duration. The PSC had issued a notification earlier this month in this regard. The notification said that the 1-hour examination will begin at 10:00am on August 21 (Friday) in Dhaka city. The notification, signed by PSC examination controller (non-cadre) Sheikh Shakhawat Hossain, further said that no candidate will be allowed to use calculator in the examination. Earlier on June 29, a PSC circular said that 144 more people will be recruited for the post of Assistant Upazila/Thana Education Officer (TEO), according to a news agency.
