Railway police arrested two people in possession of 32 gold bars weighting five kilograms from Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital on Saturday. The arrestees were identified as Jhutan Biswas, 21, Rahul, 28. Abdul Majid, officer-in-charge of Kamalapur Government Railway Police Station said 'Turna Nishita' express train from Chittagong arrived at the station around 8:30am. Being tipped off, a GRP team challenged the duo while they were getting down from the train. Later, the law enforcers recovered 32 gold bars searching the bodies of Jhutan and Rahul. A case was filed with GRP police station in this connection, according to a news agency.
