Man held with heroin

Police have seized 1.6 kg heroin and arrested a man from Godabari upazila in Rajshahi district. The arrested is Atiqul Islam, 22, son of Abdul Khaleq of Amtala Para. A team from Godabari Police Station challenged Atiqul while he was going with the heroin wrapped in a sack riding a battery-run auto-rickshaw. Police forced the battery-run auto-rickshaw stop and nabbed him along with the heroin. A case was filed, according to a news agency.
