Case filed over killing of Italian in Dhaka

A case has been filed in connection with the killing of the foreign NGO official in Gulshan area of Dhaka city on Monday evening. Official of ‘ICCO Cooperation’ filed the case with Gulshan Police Station on Tuesday morning. Quoting ‘Sight Intelligence Group’, Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for killing the Italian national, foreign media reports. Earlier, Italian national Tavella, 60, technical director of the Netherlands-based non-governmental organisation ‘ICCO Cooperation’, was killed by miscreants in Gulshan area of the city, according to a news agency.
