Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested six people for their suspected involvement with outlawed outfit Hizb-ut-Tahrir Bangladesh (HuTi) in the city on Saturday night. A team of detectives conducted a drive in Khilkhet on Saturday night and picked up the six members of the banned Islamist group. However, the identities of the arrestees could not be known. Details about the raid and the arrests would be known later. Muntasirul Islam, deputy commissioner (Media) of the Detective Branch of police, said a cyber crime team of DB conducted a drive in the area and arrested them.
