Mustafizurs record spree continues

Rain forced a dull draw in the Chittagong Test of the Tigers against South Africa on Saturday. But it could not ruin all chances for the hosts, as Bangladesh bowler Mustafizur Rahman kept setting world records.

He was adjudged Man-of-the-Match for his stunning performance in the Test. With this he emerged the first player to bag a Man-of-the-Match award on debut in both Tests and ODIs.

The day-five was washed out without a ball being bowled on the day at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

It was Bangladesh's first draw against South Africa after eight defeats in as many Test matches. Seven of those were innings defeats.

Speaking at the presentation party after the match, South Africa captain Hashim Amla said: "It has been a good Test, actually. We had around three days and it has been an up-and-down Test. It was evenly poised going into the final day. Temba batted exceptionally well. Whoever gets in have to score big. Both teams fought pretty well but rain had the last say.
